- Was called "Picturegoer" from 1913 to 1914 (19 issues).
- Amalgamated with The Pictures and was called Pictures and The Picturegoer from 1914 to 1921.
- Was called "Picturegoer Monthly" from 1921 to 1931.
- Was called "Picturegoer Weekly" from 1931 to 23 April 1960.
- After Picturegoer ceased it became "Date", (stating on the cover, " DATE, incorporating Picturegoer "). Only Date covers that state "incorporating Picturegoer" are included here.

- Was called just "Photoplay" from November 1980 to March 1981.
- Was called "Photoplay Movies & Video" from April 1981 to March 1989.
- Incorporated Films Illustrated in 1982.
- Changed name and continued as Film Monthly in April 1989.

- After three trial issues in 1950, it started as a monthly magazine in January 1951.
- It became Film Review in 1972.
