THE WEIRDEST, THE FREAKIEST AND THE MOST EXTREME
ASIAN FILMS OF ALL TIME
by ACC editor Thomas Weisser and the entire Asian Cult Cinema staff
This is a particularly nasty edition of Asian Cult Cinema magazine.
It's filled with over-the-top descriptions and revolting images. Purposely so. That's because this special 15th Year Anniversary issue is dedicated - totally - to the most extreme, the most outrageous, the most reprehensible Asian movies ever made: the Guilty Pleasures of the cult cinema world.
This entire issue is a celebration of the films that dared to be different, the movies that made everybody sit up and say: 'We're not in Hollywood anymore.' These are the movies that separated the East from the West.
One of the best things about this special edition is the scope: all the regular contributors are on hand to share their personal Guilty Pleasures plus there are various comments from our subscribers and the results of the ACC Readers' Poll (conducted November 12, 2007 via the internet).
