- The John Wayne Film Society was established in 1990, by David and Patrick Cutts and 2 other very keen John Wayne Fans, to encourage interest in the Films and Life of possibly the greatest Film Star of the Twentieth Century- John Wayne. The aims are to preserve the memory, and to encourage interest in the films of the "DUKE".
The Film Society began producing the Journals in 1996, in very much a labour of love, on basic paper-stock and typeset, the journal has evolved greatly through the years up until the glossy and very professional magazine that it is today.
Each magazine/Journal showcases a selection of articles, reports and features, all with the driving desire to keep the Duke and in his movies to the forefront of popular media and cultural relevance.
