- From No. 1 to No. 21, the publication is monthly.
- From number 21 to number 28 is quarterly. (double numbering, 22=1 of the new series).
- In 1984, for 2 issues, it took the name "Polar magazine, the Magazine of the Black Roman and the Police Cinema".
- In 1990 it reappears under the title "Polar quarterly magazine".(The numbering starts again at number 1 and 24 issues as well as 4 specials were published).
